Raised with Decree N° 88/30 December 1903

It was formed with one active division of the 5th artillery regiment, and one active and one reserve division of the 1st artillery regiment.

9 – 31 October 1912 : took part in the military operations around Odrin stronghold

4 – 5 November 1912 : fought at the Chadaldzha line

6 November 1912 – 1 April 1913 : took part in the defence of the Bulgarian lines at Chataldzha

            II. Interallied War 1913

22 – 24 June 1913 : took part in the occupation of Sv. Nikola

28 June – 31 June 1913 : took part in the defence of Sv. Nikola against the Serbian attacks

15 – 17 July 1913 : fought at Gorna Dzhumaya against Greek Army

            III. First World War

17 – 23 October 1915 : fought at Borodimo, Kalafat, Livinitza and Gramada

31 October – 1 November 1915 : fought at Prokuple

21 – 27 April 1917 : attached to 9th Plevenska Infantry Division took part in the defence of Doiran

8 – 9 May 1917 : took part in the fightings at “Pazardzhik”, “Knyaz Boris”, “General Zhekov”, “Knyaz Kiril” and “General Nerezov” redoubts (east of Dolyeli)

15 – 23 September 1918 : fought at Doiran
