Not raised as independent unit, in September 1912 along with 3^rd division of the 4^th Artillery Regiment formed 10^th Artillery Regiment assigned to the 10^th Mixed Infantry Division Raised as 6^th not QF artillery division in September 1915 at the mobilization Rearmed with 75mm QF field guns Krupp (Brazilian) and become the 3^rd artillery division of the 12^th artillery regiment on 28 February 1916 (Field Army Order N° 227)
