Remarks :

Quick firing field gun, with hydro-spring recoil system, single-motion wedge breech mechanism, traverse on pivot. It was equipped with an arc sight fitted with a panoramic dial sights and a collimateur for direct laying. Since the line of sight was not independent, a corrector slide, interposed between the tangent sight and the sight bracket, enabled the trajectory to be modified, thus altering the height of burst. It could fire also a 6.79 kg incendiary shell (7,7cm Brandschrapnellgranate), a star shell (7,7cm Leuchtgeschoss), and various patterns of gas shells.
